Julian Cambre Senior Project:

9999 (Ninety-Nine Ninety-Nine)

WHAT?

WHY?

HOW?

For my senior project my aim is to write an interactive science-fantasy story about humanity's existence several thousand years into the future, where an unknown phenomenon has accelerated the entropic decay of the universe. Fear and uncertainty of what is to come will be a major theme throughout the piece. This idea has been floating around in my head for quite a while. It is inspired in part by the novella All Tomorrows, alongside other depictions of the far future in fiction and more apocalyptic/dying-earth stories like Interstellar or Dark Souls. I will be making this game using the program RPG Maker 2003, which will include things like coding, drawing sprites, and if possible composing original music (the main program for which will be Audacity).
